the wall live in berlin part 2

another brick in the wall 1&2 Daddy’s flown across the ocean Leaving just a memory a Snapshot in the family album Daddy what else did you leave for me? Daddy, what’d'ja leave behind for me?!? All in all it was just a brick in the wall. All in all it was all just bricks in the wall. “You! Yes, you! Stand still laddy!” When we grew up and went to school There were certain teachers who would Hurt the children in any way they could By pouring their derision Upon anything we did And exposing every weakness However carefully hidden by the kids But in the town, it was well known When they got home at night, their fat and Psychopathic wives would thrash them Within inches of their lives. ooooooooooooo, oooooooo, ooooooooooo, ooooooooo, ooooooooo, ooooooooo, oooo. We don’t need no education We don’t need no thought control No dark sarcasm in the classroom Teacher leave them kids alone Hey! Teacher! Leave them kids alone! All in all it’s just another brick in the wall All in all you’re just another brick in the wall (With kids) We don’t need no education We don’t need no thought control No dark sarcasm in the classroom Teacher leave us kids alone Hey! Teacher! Leave us kids alone! All in all it’s just another brick in the wall All in all you’re just another brick in the wall

2 me this sounds better the when Roger was with Guilmour or Barett or Wright or Mason

oh man. I would wreck cindi lauper!!
I think it’s lame when people claim “oh it doesn’t work without gilmour”. Richard Wright was probably just as responsible for that DSOTM era sound as Gilmour. But Richard Wright barely plays at all on the Wall, and it’s arguably Pink Floyd’s best album. Roger Waters doesn’t NEED anybody in particular.. He’s hands down the greatest rock song writer: give him any decent session musicians and he’ll make an unreal album!!!!

Total score is: 8,00. Why not ten? – 1 because of the sax… and – 1 because of Cind Lauper… But a plus complement for the guitar solo, has the Gilmour’s soul

roger waters IS pink floyd without him or syd there would be no pink floyd at least not any of those great albums.

To have been at the Montreal show which inspired The Wall … and to have been inspired by The Wall for my soundtrack and production of GETTYMOVIE the Getty Hitler Trilogy … is awesome.

Waters injured his foot in a playfight backstage with manager Steve O’Rourke, and returning from the hospital to his hotel he spoke to Bob Ezrin and a psychiatrist sharing the car of his sense of alienation on the tour. He hated playing in stadiums, and told of how he sometimes felt like building a wall to separate himself from the audience.

  15. grantmacdonald

Waters was not the only person who felt depressed about playing to such large audiences, as Gilmour refused to perform the band’s usual twelve-bar blues encore

  22. EppsMan1966

  23. punishedexistence

Dude, it’s Cyndi!! Cool! Usually I would be pissed if someone else did it, but she has my total thumbs-up! Man, I always thought she was hot, attitude wise, and physically, even now. I love floyd to no end and I’d like to shake her hand for adding to it. Others will diagree, and that’s fine, after all, it’s all a matter of opinion, but I think it kicks ass.
